$1375 - Platinum Solitaire Engagement Ring
Total fee (workshop, platinum*, and sales tax) for a private class to fabricate a four-prong engagement ring with a center stone up to 6mm (3/4ct.) Workshops last about 10 hours including stone setting. Fee does not include the cost of a center stone. |

$1625 - Heavy Platinum Solitaire
I recommend 6-prong settings and thicker bands for stones 6.5mm and over (1ct. approx.) The additional cost covers the higher cost of platinum for a heavier band. |

Diamonds & Gemstones - most engagement rings contain center stones. I source diamonds and gemstones for my clients, but do not require that gemstones be purchased through me. For more info, see information and pricing.

Overtime - $100 per hour
Only if we exceed the first workshop day of 10 working hours. Standard solitaire classes generally will not incur hourly billing. Almost all custom engagement rings will. If I expect your design will take more time, I will tell you in advance. |
Rush Fee - $100
Applies to customers whose deposits are paid fewer than two weeks before a workshop. If you fall in this category, please read this page. |
Gold Engagement Rings
I recommend platinum for solitaire engagement rings. If you prefer, I will happily help you make an engagement ring in gold or palladium. It will probably cost $100 - $300 less. I do not offer price quotes for solitaires in different metals. |
